Position: Administrative Support Specialist

We are collaborating with a prominent Local Authority to find a skilled Administrative Support Specialist to join their Early Help Unit.

This position offers the flexibility of hybrid work arrangements after the initial training phase.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing comprehensive administrative assistance to the team
  • Handling sensitive information with discretion
  • Ensuring precision and accuracy in all documentation
  • Effectively managing and prioritizing tasks
  • Engaging with stakeholders at various levels in a professional manner
  • Supporting with miscellaneous duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

We are looking for candidates with prior experience in an administrative capacity, demonstrating reliability and commitment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is essential.


Work Schedule:

This role is structured for 37 hours per week, with standard hours from Monday to Thursday, 9 AM to 5 PM, and Fridays from 9 AM to 4:30 PM.


Compensation:

The position offers a competitive hourly wage of £12.18, with weekly payments in arrears. We are a Flexible Pay Employer, providing access to Wagestream, a money management application that allows you to control your pay schedule, save for future expenses, and access discounts on shopping.

Additionally, we have partnered with the Company Shop, granting our staff access to discounted groceries at significant savings.


Contract Information:

This role is initially offered on a temporary basis, with the potential for extension or transition to a permanent position for the right candidate.
