About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Anderselite LTD. As a leading principal contractor, we offer a unique opportunity to work on high-profile projects across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop close relationships with clients and subcontractors to maintain profitable projects.
  • Supervise and manage site and trainee surveyors on various projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Attend tender handover meetings, prepare and agree on contract budgets, and monitor cash flows.
  • Prepare and submit interim applications for payment and final accounts, ensuring accurate measurement and procurement of subcontractors.
  • Implement subcontract payment controls, evaluate contract works, and manage variations, materials, and claims.
  • Record and recover confirmed verbal instructions with cost and/or time effects.
  • Oversee miscellaneous procedures, including notices to subcontractors, general correspondence, and office administration.
  • Monitor progress, report on delays, and prepare prolongation costs for payment.
  • Liaise and coordinate with business unit departments to improve communication and develop company objectives.
Requirements
  • Strong commercial and technical knowledge to align with key accountabilities.
  • Proven track record of managing commercial staff across multiple sites.
  • Experience in residential and commercial sectors using differing construction systems.
  • Motivational individual with good leadership qualities.
  • Aware of individual Health and Safety responsibilities and adherence to company health and safety policy and procedures.
  • Alignment with company values: Excellence, Passion, Integrity, and Collaboration.
  • Good sound contract knowledge and experience in various subcontract types.
  • Experience in BMS and associated commercial procedures.
  • Sound contract knowledge of JCT and Industry Standard Contracts.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety procedures and policies.
  • Experience of PLC policies and procedures relating to BMS/Quality/Employment.
