Civil Engineering Estimator

The Resolute Group is seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Estimator to join their team. As an Estimator, you will be responsible for carrying out take-offs, bills of quantities, cost plans, and tenders for a range of clients.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing tenders on behalf of clients based on architectural, structural engineer, and specialist drawings, plans, and specifications.
  • Establishing connections with various individuals across the tendering process, including suppliers, subcontractors, and specialists.
  • Performing accurate take-offs for various residential and commercial projects, utilizing measuring take-off tools and software for precision.
  • Supporting the estimating and managing director as required.
  • Discussing and establishing potential value engineering regarding projects to aid clients in meeting budgets.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in civils in the UK, 3 of which as an Estimator with a small/medium contractor.
  • Be HNC/HND or degree qualified.
  • Basic IT skills and experience of Conquest estimating software preferred.
  • Have a knowledge of standard Conditions of Contract.
  • Full UK driving licence.
