About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Onboarding & Review Expert to join our team at Starling Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for reviewing high-risk applications, mentoring our teams, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review high-risk applications using Starling's risk appetite to ensure timely customer onboarding while maintaining bank and customer safety.
  • Mentor teams and leaders through engaging coaching sessions, providing clear and concise feedback to foster a positive team environment.
  • Develop and implement process improvements, guidance changes, and projects to enhance the customer journey.
Requirements
  • Expert understanding of onboarding and due diligence processes.
  • Strong coaching and feedback skills, with the ability to deliver structured sessions.
  • Effective stakeholder management and communication at all levels of the business.
  • Knowledge of Money Laundering Regulations and JMLSG guidance.
  • Ability to create engaging training sessions on risk and EDD.
