Early Years Team Leader Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Early Years Team Leader to join our dynamic and inclusive team at Connaught Education. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing engaging and creative learning opportunities for children in a warm and nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Day-to-day management of the class, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow.
  • Planning and delivering rich, creative, and engaging activities that meet the developmental stages of the children and encourage them to reach their full potential.
  • Preparing and evaluating activities using the EYFS curriculum, ensuring a high standard of education and care.
  • Supervising and leading activities, planning for key children from observations, next steps, magic moments, and parental input.
  • Completing observations and online learning journals to a high standard, providing valuable insights into children's progress.
  • Conducting Two Year Progress Checks and meeting with parents to discuss their child's development.
  • Identifying children who may need extra support or an extension of their learning, providing targeted interventions to ensure every child thrives.
