Job Title: Early Years Practitioner

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Bright Horizons Norfolk Lodge Montessori Day Nursery and Preschool.

About the Role

As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes the development and well-being of our children.

  • Plan and implement engaging activities that cater to the unique needs and interests of each child.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers to ensure a collaborative approach to supporting our children's growth.
  • Promote and ensure the welfare, protection, health, and safety of our children, adhering to the highest standards of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive team environment, working collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a happy and safe space for all.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

  • A full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in a nursery or early years setting.
  • A passion for creating engaging and fun learning experiences for each child.
  • The ability to build trust and strong relationships with colleagues and parents.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to adapt to different communication styles.
  • A strong understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and legislative requirements for working with children.
