About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sunday Deputy Manager to join our team at Wicker Hill. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing the store floor, and ensuring efficient stock control and rotation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
  • Manage the store floor, including visual merchandising, stock rotation, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and tidiness.
  • Support the training, motivation, and management of volunteers, ensuring they are competent to prepare goods for display, provide great customer service, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and tidiness.
  • Identify and recommend areas for improvement, ensuring the store operates efficiently and effectively.
  • Deliver accurate and proper financial procedures, banking, and administration as required by Dorothy House.
  • Participate in education, training, development, and appraisal, and attend meetings as required.
Requirements
  • Good standard of Maths and English.
  • Strong team worker with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills.
  • Customer-focused with an energetic and enthusiastic attitude.
Desirable Requirements
  • Experience working in Retail or Charity Shop.
  • Experience within a management role.
  • Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle.
