About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sunday Deputy Manager to join our team at Dorothy House. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing the store floor, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage the store floor, ensuring that all areas are clean, tidy, and well-organized.
- Supervise and motivate a team of volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure they are competent to perform their duties.
- Implement effective stock control and rotation procedures to ensure that stock is accurately recorded and easily accessible to customers.
- Contribute to the development of the store's visual merchandising and display standards, ensuring that the store is visually appealing and engaging.
- Participate in the recruitment and training of new volunteers, ensuring that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service and meet the needs of our customers.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records of sales, stock levels, and customer feedback, providing regular reports to management.
- Collaborate with the store management team to achieve sales targets and improve customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Good standard of Maths and English
- Strong team worker with the ability to motivate a team
- Excellent prioritisation and organisational skills
- Customer focused with an energetic and enthusiastic attitude
Desirable Requirements
- Experience working in Retail or Charity Shop
- Experience within a management role
- Full UK driving licence with access to a vehicle
