About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sunday Deputy Manager to join our team at Wicker Hill. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, managing the store floor, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Manage the store floor, ensuring that all areas are clean, tidy, and well-organized.
  • Supervise and motivate a team of volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure they are competent to perform their duties.
  • Contribute to the development of the store's visual merchandising and display standards.
  • Process sales, handle customer transactions, and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in stock control, rotation, and replenishment, ensuring that stock levels are maintained and that the store is well-stocked.
  • Identify and recommend areas for improvement, contributing to the continuous development of the store.
  • Deliver accurate and proper financial procedures, banking, and administration as required by Dorothy House.
Requirements
  • Good standard of Maths and English.
  • Strong team worker with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Customer-focused with an energetic and enthusiastic attitude.
Desirable Requirements
  • Experience working in Retail or Charity Shop.
  • Experience within a management role.
  • Full UK driving license with access to a vehicle.
