Human Resources Specialist

Salary: Up to 35K based on experience

Alecto Recruitment is currently seeking a Human Resources Specialist on behalf of a prominent provider of tailored integrated security solutions.


Our client's expertise encompasses critical areas such as access control, intrusion detection, remote surveillance, video monitoring, and biometric technology.

They serve a wide array of sectors including pharmaceuticals, hospitality, finance, education, and governmental organizations, committed to protecting their clients' assets both domestically and globally.


The Human Resources Specialist will be instrumental in facilitating daily HR operations and executing HR strategies that align with organizational goals.

The ideal candidate will manage a range of HR responsibilities including talent acquisition, employee relations, performance evaluation, training and development, and ensuring adherence to
employment regulations and corporate policies.

Talent Acquisition:
Overseeing the complete recruitment process, which includes job advertisements, CV assessments, conducting interviews, and onboarding new employees.

Employee Relations:
Serving as the primary contact for employee inquiries and concerns, offering guidance and support on HR policies and procedures.

Performance Evaluation:
Assisting in the performance review process, which includes goal setting, performance assessments, and feedback discussions. Collaborating with managers to create performance enhancement plans for underperforming staff. Identifying training and development needs and facilitating appropriate training programs.
Maintaining accurate and current employee records and HR databases. Compiling and presenting HR reports and metrics to senior leadership.

Policy Formulation:
Creating, implementing, and reviewing HR policies and procedures to ensure they meet organizational requirements and legal standards. Effectively communicating policy changes and updates to all staff members.

Training and Development:
Organizing and coordinating training sessions and workshops to improve employee skills and knowledge. Supporting career development initiatives and succession planning within the organization.

Compensation and Benefits:
Assisting in the management of employee compensation and benefits programs. Conducting salary benchmarking and analysis to ensure equitable and competitive compensation practices.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline
- Proven experience as an HR officer or in a similar role, preferably within the engineering sector
- Strong understanding of UK employment legislation and HR best practices
- Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office
