Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Scientific Instrumentation Engineer to join our team at ANY-Web Ltd. as a Laboratory Automation Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the operational functionality of key laboratory instrument platforms to support our clients' scientific needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with key equipment users, engineering teams, and suppliers to ensure optimal performance of laboratory instrument platforms.
  • Develop and implement proactive maintenance regimes for equipment to support customized platforms.
  • Analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize system performance.
  • Provide technical mediation in the event of long-running equipment issues involving multiple vendors.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with vendor service organizations.
  • Develop and deliver training packages to increase overall system efficiencies through best use and maintenance practices.
  • Perform root-cause analysis and trending of errors to mitigate their reoccurrence.
  • Develop innovative support solutions that bring value to our clients.
  • Adopt and champion new technologies to improve response and resolution times for clients.
  • Maintain awareness of new developments in laboratory automation and apply this knowledge to improve our services.

Requirements:

  • Experience in maintaining scientific laboratory instrumentation or automation technologies.
  • Pharmaceutical or regulated working background.
  • Previous experience of working in multidisciplinary customer-facing teams.
  • Advanced technical skills in the field of expertise or experience of servicing scientific equipment.
  • Excellent PC and Microsoft tools skills.
