Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our team at Randstad Construction & Property. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a £20m refurbishment and CAT A fit out project in West London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Team Management: Lead and manage a team of Site Managers and Assistant Site Managers to ensure the successful delivery of the project.
- Sub-Contractor Management: Manage and coordinate with sub-contractors to ensure timely completion of work.
- Workload Delegation and Monitoring: Delegate tasks and monitor progress to ensure the project stays on track.
- Programming and Progress Meetings: Coordinate and chair weekly meetings to discuss project progress and address any issues.
- Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical issues on site.
- Design Team Coordination: Work closely with the design team to ensure that the project meets the required standards.
- Quality Control: Ensure that the work meets the required quality standards.
- Client and Contractor Liaison: Liaise with clients and contractors to ensure that their needs are met.
- Risk Assessments and Method Statements: Conduct risk assessments and develop method statements to ensure a safe working environment.
- Health and Safety Policies: Enforce health and safety policies on site.
- Project Reporting and Administration: Provide regular project reports and administer project-related tasks.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven experience in managing commercial refurbishment projects.
- Qualifications: Trade or degree-qualified in a relevant field.
- Attributes: Strong work ethic, passionate about delivering quality, and good understanding of design detail.
