Construction Cost Manager

Crown Construction and Maintenance Limited is a leading provider of construction, maintenance, and principal contractor solutions in the UK. We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop accurate cost estimates and tenders for new construction projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and building regulations.
- Analyze construction drawings and specifications to determine material and labor requirements, identifying potential cost overruns and opportunities for cost savings.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors to secure the best possible prices, leveraging strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Prepare regular cost reports for project managers and senior management, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making.
- Ensure seamless project delivery by coordinating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
- Proven experience in quantity surveying, with a strong background in cost control, cost management, and cost planning.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
- Relevant degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
