About the Position

As the Sales Team Leader, you will play a pivotal role in motivating and guiding the sales team. Your focus will be on the development and implementation of strategic sales initiatives, driving significant revenue growth, and optimizing sales potential. You will mentor a team of sales experts, collaborating with internal teams and fostering enduring relationships with clients and industry stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhancing the commercial success of your team. Collaborate with the Portfolio Head of Sales to devise and implement strategic sales initiatives aimed at surpassing revenue targets across various product lines.
  • Employing critical thinking to swiftly identify revenue-generating opportunities. Utilize data as your primary metric to assess performance against set expectations.
  • Leading, inspiring, and developing a high-achieving sales team. Provide mentorship, coaching, and support to unlock their full potential and drive outstanding results.
  • Exploring innovative solutions and bringing plans to fruition both within your team and across departments.
  • Recognizing training requirements and taking initiative to facilitate necessary improvements.
  • Establishing and nurturing a robust network of advocates among key clients, industry associations, and other strategic partners.

Qualifications

  • A proven history of leading and developing successful sales teams.
  • Ability to manage a complex sales pipeline, accurately assessing and forecasting performance, market trends, and potential risks.
  • Experience in mentoring sales professionals, leading through influence and promoting sales excellence via consistent skill development and training.
  • Monitoring market trends and customer insights to drive innovation and inform sales strategies.
  • Expertise in delivering top-tier exhibitions, staying ahead of emerging trends and technologies, and effectively representing the organization at industry events.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
