About the Role

As Sales Team Manager, you will be responsible for inspiring and managing the sales team. You will support the development and execution of strategic sales plans, drive revenue growth, and maximize sales opportunities. You will coach a team of sales professionals, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and building lasting relationships with clients and industry partners.

Responsibilities

  • Accelerate the commercial performance of your team by building and executing strategic sales plans to exceed targeted revenues across all product lines.
  • Think critically and quickly identify revenue opportunities on a tactical basis, using data as your primary indicator to measure performance against expectation.
  • Manage, motivate, and develop a high-performing sales team by providing guidance, coaching, and support to maximize their potential and drive exceptional performance.
  • Seek opportunities to try new and different solutions and bring plans to life both within your team and cross-functionally.
  • Identify training needs and take ownership to deliver the improvements required.
  • Build and nurture a successful network of advocates with key clients, industry associations, and other strategic partners.

Requirements

  • Possess a proven track record of leading and developing successful sales teams.
  • Be able to manage a complex sales pipeline, accurately reviewing and forecasting performance, market trends, and risks.
  • Have experience mentoring sales professionals, leading in areas without authority by supporting and promoting sales excellence through a consistent approach to core skills practice and training.
  • Monitor market trends and customer feedback to drive innovation, inform sales strategies, and tactics.
  • Demonstrate expertise in delivering best-in-class exhibitions, staying ahead of future trends and emerging technologies, and successfully representing Reed Exhibitions at industry events.
  • Be able to travel XX%.
