ROLE OVERVIEW

The Transport Team at GRS Group is looking for a dedicated professional to fulfill a dual role involving customer data management and transport administration. The primary responsibility of this position is to collaborate with the Transport Teams, ensuring that all data reports are accurately maintained and transport needs are efficiently entered into various internal and external customer systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is crucial within GRS Group, with key duties including:

  • Collaborating with the Operations Coordinator to ensure precise data management in Customer Contract systems.
  • Assisting the Ticket Administration Team and Transport Coordinators in resolving customer queries related to billing.
  • Working closely with Transport Coordinators to adhere to customer timelines for material deliveries.
  • Identifying and escalating any discrepancies found in the Contract Portals to management.
  • Monitoring delivered volumes across contracts and documenting any variances with detailed explanations.
  • Proposing enhancements to existing processes for greater efficiency.
  • Coordinating with Transport Administration Teams to track and document haulier vehicle speeds, designated delivery routes, and waiting times on a daily basis.
  • Participating in weekly review meetings with the Transport Manager.

  • Proficient in technology and software applications.
  • Solid understanding of Excel spreadsheets and the ability to utilize relevant formulas.

  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Accurate data entry skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Experience in conducting research and data analysis.
  • Capability to meet established deadlines.
