Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Transport Planner to join our Transport Team at the Culina Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for contributing to the success of our transport operations, overseeing the day-to-day planning function, and ensuring the efficient movement of goods.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Transport and Warehouse teams to create and implement efficient transportation plans using the latest Transportation Management Systems (TMS).
  • Assemble and consolidate orders into loads, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • Plan and coordinate daily workload of fleet vehicles, including site and outbase operations.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Proactively address and resolve issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Transport and Warehouse teams.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying knowledge to improve transportation planning and execution.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a transport and logistics environment, with a focus on transportation planning and coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of transportation management systems (TMS) and logistics software.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meeting business needs.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in logistics, transportation, or a related field preferred.
