About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Coordinator to join our team at Gist. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth delivery of goods to our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Brief and debrief drivers, serving as the primary point of contact for all drivers and ensuring all queries are addressed.
- Ensure legal compliance and operational excellence, including cost and service management, peak planning, and delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer care and resolve live issues in a timely manner.
- Monitor routes to ensure timely delivery and escalate issues to the Team Manager as needed.
- Manage daily administrative tasks, including payroll systems, payroll queries, and holiday management.
Requirements:
- Experience in administration in a busy transport environment.
- Proficiency in PC software, including Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
