Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Ward Manager to join our team at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for leading and managing a team of clinicians and support workers to deliver high-quality patient care and services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of clinicians and support workers to deliver high-quality patient care and services.
  • Develop and implement effective care plans to meet the needs of patients with complex mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care pathways and effective communication.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations.
Requirements
  • Registration with a professional body.
  • Relevant health or social care postgraduate professional qualification.
  • Experience of working at senior nurse level (band 6 or equivalent) together with experience of managing staff.
  • Clinical experience including experience of risk assessment, assessing patients and creating/implementing and evaluating care plans etc.
  • Experience of staff supervision and supporting students.
