Job Title: Assistant Ward Manager

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Ward Manager to join our team at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to patients on our acute adult inpatient mental health services.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide and coordinate a high standard of care to patients on the ward
  • Support the Team Manager in the management of staff, meeting quality standards, and implementing policy
  • Delegate work to staff and ensure care requirements are implemented satisfactorily
  • Maintain administration information systems as required
  • Comply with the correct implementation of the Mental Health Act
Requirements:
  • 2 years' experience as a Band 5 nurse
  • Registration with a professional body
  • Experience of working as a senior nurse level
  • Clinical experience, including risk assessment, patient assessment, and care planning
