Job Overview

Position – Site Operations Manager

Location – Remote with travel to various locations across the portfolio.

Compensation – £45,000

Role Summary:

The Site Operations Manager will be a key figure within the organization, tasked with overseeing a designated collection of properties to ensure their optimal functionality. This role involves coordinating all aspects of operational activities related to facilities management under the guidance of the Head of Facilities.

The successful candidate will manage a diverse range of sites, ensuring that all facilities are maintained to the highest standards. Responsibilities include overseeing maintenance operations, negotiating contracts with service providers, and managing renovations and relocations. Compliance with health and safety regulations is also a critical aspect of this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee property maintenance contracts and manage service providers.
  2. Monitor and manage repair requests and system performance.
  3. Supervise maintenance personnel and subcontractors.
  4. Ensure adherence to safety and security protocols.
  5. Coordinate renovations, refurbishments, and office relocations.
  6. Advise on energy efficiency initiatives.
  7. Collaborate with the Head of Facilities on new construction projects.
  8. Assist the Risk, Safety, and Compliance Manager with audits and corrective actions.
  9. Manage budgets and conduct equipment and asset audits.

Essential Qualifications:

  1. Participation in Facilities meetings and relevant events.
  2. Maintain compliance with all legal and regulatory standards.
  3. Adhere to safeguarding and prevention policies.
  4. Work collaboratively to achieve performance management goals.
  5. Address and manage complaints related to facilities operations.
  6. Coordinate the submission of relevant bids and tenders.
  7. Conduct regular meetings with direct reports.
  8. Perform quality management reviews and supervision of team members.
  9. Promote the organization’s commitment to diversity and inclusion.
  10. Ensure the safety of staff, volunteers, and clients through effective health and safety practices.
  11. Represent the organization in strategic and planning meetings.
  12. Fulfill any additional responsibilities as required.
