Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Operations Executive to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that our processes run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operational Management:
    • Oversee the daily operations of the company, including inventory management, logistics, and distribution.
    • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
    • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational targets are met.
  • Supply Chain:
    • Raise purchase orders and check on lead times with suppliers/freight partners to ensure timely delivery of high-quality raw materials.
    • Optimize supply chain processes to reduce costs and improve reliability.
    • Update inventory report and circulate company-wide.
    • Book deliveries into our warehouses.
    • Physical requirements to collect and move stock between locations/offices to events with the team.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure all products meet the company's quality standards and comply with industry regulations.
    • Implement and oversee quality control processes throughout the production cycle.
    • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
    • Implement methodologies to streamline operations.
    • Develop and manage projects aimed at operational enhancements.
  • Customer Service:
    • Manage DTC and trade customer enquiries across 2 inboxes to ensure customer satisfaction and address any operational issues that may arise.
    • Analyze customer feedback to inform operational decisions and improvements.
    • Help with packing and dispatching orders to customers and retailers.
  • Compliance and Safety:
    • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and legal requirements.
    • Implement safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in operations management, preferably within the food or FMCG industry.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain management and logistics.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using operations management software and tools, including Shopify.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Knowledge of Xero, Shopify, Gorgias, and warehouse management software.
