Connecting Experts are a leading Recruitment firm specialising in connecting top talent with global opportunities in various industries. With a reputation for excellence and a commitment to providing tailored recruitment solutions, we are expanding our footprint and looking for a dynamic Operations Manager to join our team in London and oversee the growth of our office in Austin, Texas.


The Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless day-to-day operations of Connecting Experts. You will report directly to the Director of Finance and Operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing Operations, IT, Operational Expenditure, Branding and Marketing.

𝙊𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙖𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙨 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩-

✨ Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency, productivity, and alignment with company goals

✨ Develop and implement operational policies and procedures that improve workflow and reduce operational risk.

✨ Monitor operational expenditure, ensuring cost-efficiency across the business


𝙄𝙏 & 𝙎𝙮𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙢𝙨 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩-

✨ Coordinate with the IT team to ensure that tech infrastructure meets the needs of the business

✨ Oversee implementation and maintenance of IT systems that support business operations

✨ Ensure data security and compliance with relevant regulations


𝘽𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙞𝙣𝙜 & 𝙈𝙖𝙧𝙠𝙚𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜-

✨ Lead development & execution of branding strategies that enhance the company's market presence

✨ Oversee marketing campaigns, both digital and traditional, ensuring they are aligned with the company's strategic objectives

✨ Manage client-facing marketing efforts to strengthen client relationships and expand our client base


𝙏𝙚𝙖𝙢 𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙙𝙚𝙧𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥-

✨ Lead, motivate, and develop a team of three direct reports, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement

✨ Provide guidance and support to the team to ensure they achieve their individual and collective goals


𝙊𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙀𝙭𝙥𝙖𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙤𝙣 & 𝙂𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙩𝙝-

✨ Oversee and support the expansion of Operations into the Austin office

✨ Work closely with the Director of Finance & Operations to ensure the successful operational and infrastructure growth of the Austin office


𝙎𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙝𝙤𝙡𝙙𝙚𝙧 𝙈𝙖𝙣𝙖𝙜𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙣𝙩 -

✨ Serve as a key point of contact between the London and Austin offices, ensuring clear communication and alignment of objectives

✨ Collaborate with senior management to drive strategic initiatives and projects


𝐐𝐔𝐀𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍𝐒:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.


𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄:


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a recruitment or professional services environment
  • Proven track record in managing operations, IT, and marketing functions
  • Experience overseeing office expansions or managing multi-site operations is highly desirable
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in IT systems management and understanding of branding and marketing strategies
  • Experience in managing budgets and operational expenditure
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels
  • Strategic thinker with a proactive approach
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to manage cross-functional teams
