Consultant in Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Consultant Endocrinologist to join our team at University Hospitals Sussex NHS Foundation Trust. As a leading NHS institution, we pride ourselves on delivering exceptional patient care, conducting innovative research, and fostering a collaborative environment that promotes continuous learning and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities- Providing expert clinical care to patients with endocrine conditions, both in an outpatient and inpatient setting.
- Collaborating with our multidisciplinary diabetes and endocrine teams to develop pathways and provide multidisciplinary care.
- Working with colleagues across specialties to develop and implement effective care plans.
- Participating in rotational shared care of an 18-bed diabetes/general medical ward.
- Specialty consults and supervision of Specialty Registrars.
- Contributing to audit, clinical governance, and service development.
- Supporting participation in research and clinical trials.
- Participating in departmental meetings, case presentations, and teaching sessions for medical students and doctors in training.
