About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and committed individual to provide tailored support to our pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). As a SEND Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in helping to create an outstanding learning environment for our young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with SEND, helping them to access the curriculum and achieve their full potential.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement effective learning plans.
  • Support pupils with their social and emotional needs, helping them to build positive relationships with their peers and teachers.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture, promoting the values of respect, empathy, and understanding.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of working with children in a school setting, particularly those with SEND.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, teachers, and other staff.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, supporting the needs of the school and its pupils.
