Job Title: Senior IT Support Engineer

Location: Oldham, Manchester

Salary: £26,000 - £32,000 DOE

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Support Engineer to join our Managed Services team in providing IT support to over 150 customers in various industries within a 30-mile radius of Oldham.

The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting client sites, working on the helpdesk, and collaborating with the projects team. A driving license and access to a personal vehicle are required. Phone, email, and remote support will be provided to ensure prompt resolution of technical issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-site IT support and services to clients
  • Assist other departments with internal and external projects
  • Maintain, update, and upgrade infrastructure
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Install and monitor computer hardware, software, systems, and networks
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining IT documentation

Technical and Personal Skills:

  • Wi-Fi setup and connectivity
  • Active Directory, backup solutions
  • Office 365 management
  • SharePoint
  • MDM setups via Intune or other solutions
  • Azure/Entra IT (desirable)
  • Network protocols - DNS, DHCP
