Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to take on the role of SEL Learning Disability and Autism Project Lead - CYP, Autism and SEND. This is an exciting opportunity to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative solutions to improve the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and autism.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the delivery of projects and commissioning services for people with learning disability, autism or both. They will work closely with our team to ensure the effective management of the Learning Disability and Autism Programme, aligning priorities with primary, secondary, and social care developments, and neighbouring ICSs and Council plans.

The post holder will have substantial experience of successful project management of complex initiatives in a politically sensitive environment. They will be expected to work confidently and collaboratively within high levels of uncertainty and ambiguity.

About Us

NHS South East London Integrated Care Board is a statutory body responsible for allocating NHS resource to deliver a plan to meet the health needs of the residents within south east London. We are part of South East London Integrated Care System (ICS), which brings together the health and care partners that serve our vibrant and highly diverse populations resident in the London boroughs of Bexley, Bromley, Greenwich, Lambeth, Lewisham and Southwark.

Key Requirements
  • Proven experience of managing the delivery of projects and/or commissioning services for people with learning disability, autism or both.
  • Substantial experience of successful project management of complex initiatives in a politically sensitive environment.
  • Ability to work confidently and collaboratively within high levels of uncertainty and ambiguity.
