Position Overview

This role is a fixed-term opportunity designed to address the specific needs of our services.

As a Principal Clinical Psychologist specializing in Neuropsychology, you will focus on the psychological assessment and treatment of individuals affected by neurological conditions. Your responsibilities will include leading initiatives aimed at enhancing service quality and developing innovative practices within neuropsychological care.

You will have the opportunity to expand your leadership and collaborative skills by sharing your creative strategies and spearheading projects and training sessions. We encourage you to explore and implement more effective methodologies in your practice.

The role includes dedicated time for neuropsychological care, with additional responsibilities tailored to meet the evolving needs of our core services, which will be discussed during the interview process.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize care for patients during both acute and rehabilitation phases.
  2. Design and implement psychological programs tailored to the needs of individuals with neurological conditions.
  3. Function as an independent practitioner.
  4. Establish and promote innovative practices in partnership with the healthcare team.
  5. Coordinate with various disciplines and organizations to ensure comprehensive care.
  6. Participate in the collection and analysis of relevant data as required.
  7. Work closely with colleagues to develop and refine resources for program implementation, ensuring content remains relevant and effective.

The ability to communicate in Welsh is preferred for this position; applications from both Welsh and English speakers are welcome.
