Join our team as a Building Controls System Engineer and take on a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of our building services.

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Controls System Engineer to join our team at CGR Services. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of our building services, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems, electrical systems, and control systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimize HVAC systems to ensure efficient and effective operation
  • Oversee electrical systems related to mechanical operations, general electrical needs, and advanced automated lighting controls
  • Handle reticulated gases and refrigeration systems
  • Provide expert management and maintenance of our control systems, including Building Management System (BMS), Energy Management System (EMS), and Boiler System
  • Ensure the smooth operation of our campus-wide building management system and associated engineering software
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Recent experience programming building automation PLCs
  • A background in HVAC support, installation, maintenance, and engineering of building automation controls
  • The ability to read and interpret detailed plans and specifications
  • A genuine enthusiasm for control technology
  • The ability to explain technical concepts in plain language and communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals
