About the Role

As a key member of our Facilities Management team, you will oversee the operation of our building services, working closely with Trades Supervisors, trades staff, and specialist contractors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimize Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems.
  • Oversee electrical systems related to mechanical operations, general electrical needs, advanced automated lighting controls, and boiler systems.
  • Handle reticulated gases and refrigeration systems.
  • Provide expert management and maintenance of our control systems, including Building Management System (BMS), Energy Management System (EMS), and Boiler System.
  • Ensure the smooth operation of our campus-wide building management system and associated engineering software.
Requirements
  • Recent experience programming building automation PLCs.
  • Background in HVAC support, along with installation, maintenance, and engineering of building automation controls.
  • Ability to read and interpret detailed plans and specifications.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for control technology.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in plain language.
