Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and planning of bid projects, including the development of bid plans, work packages, milestones, and deadlines.
  • Management of bid internal communication, including the coordination of bid team members and stakeholders.
  • Operational management of bid projects, focusing on the bid management of tasks and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Planning and tracking of internal and external bid delivery dates, ensuring completeness and consistency of bid team contributions.
  • Development and documentation of bid strategy, differentiators, win themes, key messages, and content for proposals and presentations.
  • Management of bid collaboration portals for document management and effective collaborative working.
  • Collection, preparation, and integration of standard proposal content and customized bid content for customers.
  • Quality assurance of offer documents and presentations, ensuring bid differentiation, format, and spelling.
  • Support of customer-specific campaigns, coordination of marketing support, and ensuring Computacenter brand compliance.
  • Closure of bid projects, providing content for reuse in standard knowledge and bid libraries.
  • Management and participation in projects to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of presales projects.
Requirements
  • Technical or commercial education, or adequate professional experience.
  • Familiarity with the bidding industry and best practices (e.g., APMP, Shipley).
  • Assertive with strong organizational skills, able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Able to think creatively and find pragmatic solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Credible at all levels of the organization and in different country contexts.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to use relevant company bid data sources.
  • Experience in virtual bid team leadership (without disciplinary responsibility).
  • Experienced in document creation, collaboration, and management using Office 365 tools, including SharePoint and MS Teams.
