About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our Domestic Building Services (DBS) Sales unit. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting the Grundfos brand and range of DBS products to customers in the North East region.

Main Responsibilities
  • Customer Interaction: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring positive customer satisfaction survey results.
  • Lead Generation: Collaborate with Area Sales Managers to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
  • Marketing and Sales Execution: Assist in implementing the company's marketing and sales strategies to drive sales revenue.
  • Customer Training: Provide training sessions to merchant outlets on Grundfos products and services.
  • Product Promotion: Promote and demonstrate products at events and exhibitions, and organize merchant promotions and campaigns.
  • Trade Mornings: Utilize the DBS Demo Van for trade morning activities.
  • CRM Management: Update and use the Grundfos CRM system to generate leads and maintain accurate customer master data.
  • Sales Planning: Plan and execute daily sales calls.
Requirements
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Outgoing with a positive attitude.
  • Independent, organized, and able to structure your own time.
  • Ability and willingness to understand technical data and products.
  • Experience in the plumbing and heating industry is advantageous.
  • Ability to handle customer complaints in a professional way.
  • Full Driving License (mandatory).
  • Good IT Literacy Skills along with GCSE/A Level (or similar qualifications).
