Communications Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Executive to join our team at Motability Operations. As a key member of our media and communications team, you will play a vital role in shaping the way our organization is perceived and understood by external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Media Relations: Oversee our in-house press office function, including being the first point of contact for journalist enquiries, researching and writing press releases, and developing briefs and key messaging for spokespeople.
- Communications Strategy: Support the senior communications manager to deliver our organization's innovation communications strategy and showcase our work in the innovation space.
- Copy Editing and Proofreading: Provide copyediting and proofreading support for our corporate publications.
- Business Support: Provide administrative support to the media and communications team, including support with budgets, booking meetings and travel arrangements.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Work with the wider communications and engagement team, as well as the brand and marketing teams, to maximize opportunities to raise awareness and manage our reputation.
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual with excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be a creative problem solver with a keen eye for detail and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders.
Requirements- Experience: A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a communications or PR role, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style for different audiences. Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
- Education: A degree in a relevant field, such as communications, marketing or public relations.
