About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Bar Operations Manager to join our team at Daylesford Organic, a renowned farm estate and organic producer in the UK. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our luxury cafés and bars.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Provide warm, efficient, and attentive service to our guests
    • Ensure every guest receives a personalized experience
  • Bar Operations
    • Lead the opening and closing procedures of the bar
    • Assist in managing stock levels and ordering supplies
    • Supervise the bar team to ensure seamless service
  • Team Management
    • Lead and motivate the bar team to achieve exceptional service standards
    • Delegate tasks and responsibilities to team members
    • Conduct regular team briefings and coaching sessions
  • Financial Management
    • Support the restaurant manager in driving sales and influencing the store's financial position
    • Monitor and manage bar sales and revenue

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a similar role in a high-end hospitality environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and lead a team
  • Knowledge of wine, spirits, and cocktails
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
