About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join our team at The Bamford Collection. As Assistant Retail Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of our Garden Shop, working closely with our Plants Team and Florists to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead by example in product knowledge and share expertise with customers
  • Champion full shelves, fixed merchandising, and effective point-of-sale displays
  • Develop team product knowledge and ensure seamless customer service
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and beautifully presented workplace, adhering to health and safety regulations
  • Manage retail operations to maximize sales and minimize waste
  • Engage the team in weekly targets and deliver agreed basket spend and transaction targets
Requirements
  • Retail management or team leader experience, with a proven track record of achieving business goals
  • Experience in a luxury retail environment, with a focus on exceptional customer service and brand standards
  • Passion for gardening, nature, and sustainability, with a deep enthusiasm for sustainable practices
  • Strong sales skills, with the ability to engage customers and drive sales through effective communication and product knowledge
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team
