The Strategic Partnerships Lead will be instrumental in fostering robust and impactful collaborations aimed at addressing the multifaceted challenges that young individuals encounter in securing employment. This role encompasses the facilitation of local alliances to create systemic solutions that can effectuate meaningful advancements in youth employment.
Contract Type: Fixed term with potential for extension
Work Schedule: Full Time – 37.5 hours per week (flexible working arrangements and alternative schedules considered, including compressed hours)
Compensation: £35,775 - £41,775
Reporting Structure: Reports to the Head of Programmes
Work Location: Hybrid model with options for remote work, requiring occasional travel to various hubs and locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Partnership Development:
- Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within each local partnership.
- Engage with potential new partners and evaluate the status of existing collaborations.
- Work alongside other funding organizations with shared interests.
Support and Guidance:
- Assist partnerships throughout their journey, monitoring progress and addressing challenges.
- Maintain a comprehensive perspective on local partnerships.
- Ensure the ongoing involvement and representation of young people in the design and decision-making processes.
Analysis and Oversight:
- Identify strategic insights and lessons learned from local partnerships.
- Provide updates on local progress to the Programmes and Grants team.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop a unified assessment of local analysis and opportunities for systemic change.
Funding Management:
- Draft Grant Agreements and ensure all documentation is current.
- Conduct monitoring and due diligence processes.
- Lead and coordinate cross-departmental evaluations and prepare recommendations for further funding.
Candidate Profile:
- Knowledge of youth employment, education, and systemic challenges.
- Proven experience in establishing and managing successful partnerships within the public or non-profit sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate productive relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Experience in budget management, project oversight, or grant administration.
- Capacity to foster collaborative relationships, apply strategic thinking, and promote innovative approaches.
