Sales Development Representative

Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9am-5pm
Location: Alcester (driving license is required due to location)
About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Trainee Sales Executive to join our team at Pertemps Redditch Commercial. As a Trainee Sales Executive, you will play a key role in building relationships with existing customers, identifying and developing new sales opportunities, and delivering excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver exceptional customer service through various channels, including in-person and over the phone.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, providing support and resolving queries in a timely and professional manner.
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities, maximizing existing relationships and driving business growth.
- Attend client visits, trade exhibitions, and networking events to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ensure accurate data entry and order processing, maintaining high levels of productivity and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and senior managers, providing regular updates and insights.
- At least 1 year's experience in customer service or sales, with a proven track record of success.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Proficiency in computer systems and Microsoft Office, with the ability to learn new software and technologies quickly.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Experience in telemarketing or cold calling is highly desirable, but not essential.
