Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of COREP/FINREP returns to regulatory bodies, including the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA) and Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
  • Prepare detailed reports on credit risk, asset encumbrance, leverage ratios, large exposures, LCR, NSFR, and ALMM.
  • Enhance and develop reconciliation processes and approval procedures for significant returns.
  • Streamline reporting processes to improve efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the Risk team on ICAAP and AIRB reporting initiatives.
  • Integrate new reporting requirements into existing regulatory data frameworks.
  • Assist in the automation of current reports using third-party software solutions.
  • Work closely with finance team members, including financial control, Treasury, Risk, and Internal Audit, to ensure data integrity and consistency.

Qualifications:
  • Strong understanding of the risks associated with regulatory reporting and their implications for the organization and stakeholders.
  • Proven experience in a business-as-usual regulatory reporting role, with comprehensive knowledge of producing a full suite of regulatory returns.
  • Familiarity with asset encumbrance, leverage ratios, large exposures, and liquidity metrics (LCR, NSFR, ALMM).
  • Experience in team management and supporting colleagues' professional development.
  • Excellent analytical skills for data reconciliation and report generation.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, particularly for reports submitted to regulatory supervisors, combined with proactive behavior.
  • Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent).
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple priorities effectively.
