Job Title: Procurement Manager - Indirect Category Lead

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead our Indirect Category team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering category objectives, cost reduction programs, and a competitive advantage in line with business strategy and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Category Management: Develop and deliver best-in-class sourcing strategies for Indirect sub-categories, including Energy, Capex, MRO, and Marketing.
  • Sourcing and Negotiation: Recommend courses of action to deliver all objectives, including optimal sourcing approach.
  • Risk Management: Proactively map and manage category-related risks.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage stakeholders to build a collaborative working relationship and get involved in areas not previously managed by procurement.
  • Team Management: Manage and develop a small team consisting of 1 Indirect Senior Buyer.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Graduate qualification as a minimum.
  • Experience: In-depth experience in strategic sourcing of Indirect sub-categories, including Energy, Capex, MRO, and Marketing.
  • Skills: Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills, strong results-orientation, and proven track record of consistent outstanding performance and results delivery.
  • Education: Graduate qualification as a minimum.
