About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at YHA London Oxford Street. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean and comfortable stay.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Preparation: Clean and prepare bedrooms between guest departures and arrivals, ensuring a fresh and inviting space for our visitors.
  • Sanitation and Hygiene: Maintain the cleanliness of all shower and toilet areas to ensure a safe and comfortable stay.
  • Reception and Social Areas: Keep the hostel reception and social areas clean and tidy, creating a welcoming atmosphere for everyone.
  • Housekeeping Tasks: Efficiently and effectively undertake housekeeping tasks, maintaining consistent cleanliness standards throughout the hostel.
  • Reporting and Maintenance: Report any faults or damage to a member of the hostel management team, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment.
  • Linens and Supplies: Sort and distribute used and unused linen, playing a key role in our guests' comfort.
Requirements

We are looking for someone with good communication skills, excellent time management, and a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards. Prior experience in customer-facing roles is an advantage, but not essential.
