As a Dementia Adviser, you will play a vital role in providing support, information, and guidance to people with dementia and their carers, helping them to maintain their independence and improve their sense of well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support people affected by dementia, families, and carers to access vital services.
  • Improve people's sense of well-being, enabling them to have more control over their lives.
  • Assist with the identification of needs, providing information and access to relevant services.
  • Promote our Dementia Advice service and build relationships with health and social care professionals.
About You

We are looking for someone with a strong understanding of dementia and the needs of those living with dementia and their carers. You will have excellent communication skills, be able to adapt your approach to ensure understanding at all levels, and be able to network effectively with other professionals.

You will also have good IT skills, experience working with databases and virtual meeting software, and be able to travel across the local area independently when required.
