Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated leader to oversee the operations and delivery of our Mental Health Adult Social Care Services. This role involves effective staff management, supervision of practices, and establishing standards while fostering collaboration with partners and agencies to address the needs of adults and their families.

The successful candidate will be tasked with translating strategic objectives into actionable service delivery, ensuring performance, quality, safety, and service enhancement in accordance with organizational policies and protocols.

Collaboration with senior leadership is essential to ensure that service provision is driven by best practices and supported by effective management; promoting engagement and leadership within the practice.

The role also requires working alongside colleagues in the local care and health sector to drive improvements across Trust services.

The post holder will be responsible for nurturing the development and well-being of their direct reports, fostering a culture where staff are empowered to excel in their roles.

Key Responsibilities

This position presents an exceptional opportunity for a senior leader in social work to join our All-Age Disabilities Care Group. The role encompasses the leadership of all statutory social work activities within the Mental Health Adult Social Care Services. The successful candidate will provide professional guidance and assurance to senior management and will spearhead all matters related to governance, regulation, quality, and professional practice standards within the service.

Close collaboration with local authority colleagues, including senior management and commissioners, is crucial to ensure high standards of professional practice and to lead significant transformation initiatives. The Trust actively supports essential organizations and will facilitate access to relevant regional forums and professional development opportunities.
