JOB TITLE: Reservations Agent / Host (Hybrid role)

DEPARTMENT: Restaurant Reservations & Reception

REPORTS TO: Senior International Sales Manager

HOURLY PAY RATE: Up to £14.50 per hour inclusive of tronc

WORKING HOURS: Full-time (Minimum 30 hours per week), 9am - 9pm availability, Mondays - Sundays

LOCATION: Hybrid Locations (On-site): Chotto Matte Head Office & Chotto Matte Restaurants

Job Description:

This is a distinctive opportunity to work in both our Chotto Matte restaurant and our Head Office.

In the restaurant, you will fulfill Host duties, assisting our Reception Manager and team in providing outstanding service to our guests.

At the Head Office, your responsibilities will include managing all incoming reservation requests and inquiries for our UK locations. You will also handle group reservations, administrative tasks, and reporting.

Collaboration with our Senior International Sales Manager and on-site Reception teams is essential, and proficiency with reservation systems is required.

This full-time position will involve working between our Head Office and restaurant locations.

Weekend availability and flexibility in shift patterns are necessary.

Key Responsibilities:

● Manage incoming reservation and group inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms in a timely and professional manner.

● Optimize the reservation system to maximize seating capacity and enhance table turnover.

● Plan and coordinate group bookings in accordance with established procedures.

● Foster strong relationships with guests, understanding their preferences to provide a personalized experience.

● Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure effective communication and execution of all reservations.

● Maintain accurate records of reservations, groups, and guest information.

● Address guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints professionally.

Reservation Agent / Host Requirements:

● Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills.

● Understanding of restaurant operations and guest relations.

● Ability to multitask, follow directions, and perform under pressure.

● Dependable, courteous, and prompt.

● Previous experience in a similar role within the hospitality sector, preferably in a high-end restaurant.

● Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with guests and colleagues.

● Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

● Familiarity with reservation management software and basic computer skills.

● Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
