Key Responsibilities- Assist the Category Leader in building positive relationships with new and existing brands to maximise potential in the marketplace.
- Develop extensive knowledge of the marketplace to stay ahead of the competition and identify opportunities for growth.
- Monitor and analyse sales data, stock, price trends, and competition to inform purchasing decisions.
- Manage order books, daily orders, and deliveries to ensure seamless operations.
- Review and identify stock opportunities to drive sales and revenue growth.
- Collaborate with the Category Leader to develop marketing ideas, market research, and strategies to drive sales online, in catalogues, and for campaigns.
- Stay up-to-date with current events on social media to ensure we are aware of current trends and competition.
- Proven experience in buying roles or the e-commerce retail industry.
- Proactive and driven approach to tasks with a strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear and concise instructions and briefs.
- Able to work independently and resourcefully with a professional attitude and demeanour.
- Travel as required to fulfil role responsibilities.
