Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Category Leader in building positive relationships with new and existing brands to maximise potential in the marketplace.
  • Develop extensive knowledge of the marketplace to stay ahead of the competition and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Monitor and analyse sales data, stock, price trends, and competition to inform purchasing decisions.
  • Manage order books, daily orders, and deliveries to ensure seamless operations.
  • Review and identify stock opportunities to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Collaborate with the Category Leader to develop marketing ideas, market research, and strategies to drive sales online, in catalogues, and for campaigns.
  • Stay up-to-date with current events on social media to ensure we are aware of current trends and competition.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in buying roles or the e-commerce retail industry.
  • Proactive and driven approach to tasks with a strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear and concise instructions and briefs.
  • Able to work independently and resourcefully with a professional attitude and demeanour.
  • Travel as required to fulfil role responsibilities.
