Rev Up Brands is looking for a new member to join our busy Procurement Team as a Junior Planner. Sharing our passion for creative arts, the successful applicant will assist the Head of Planning with the financial planning of the business ensuring that trade actions are optimised and accurate forecasts are produced; whilst contributing to a high-performing team.

You will play a pivotal role in delivering our mission to Make Passion Possible for Dance Teachers and their students, thorough your commitment, drive, and ideally - love of Dance

- Update and forecast the weekly sales, stock and intake to make sure all categories are performing at optimum levels and manage sales/stock flows;
- Analyse and present quarterly performance to the department, proposing actions to drive sales;
- Review best and worst sales information and suggest appropriate trading actions;
- Use historical analysis, and present conclusions to support range planning;
- Plan promotions in conjunction with the marketing calendar;
- Control department stock levels effectively against plan, whilst challenging what correct stock levels should be in relation to current trade performance;
- Propose price changes and markdowns in line with each department's KPIs;
- Evaluate markdown performance learning lessons to improve future decisions;
- Manage in-season OTB down to category level, continually reviewing with your Buyer to potential opportunities and minimise risk;
- Manage stock intake, monitoring stock levels by restocking products to maximise sell-through with full understanding, maintenance, and management of weekly sales, stock and intake;
- Identify any overstocks and recommend appropriate action;
- Support the Critical Dates calendar and ensure the team are on time;
- Undertake competitor analysis - using your findings to highlight and act on any ideas, opportunities or concerns back in the trading team;
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues across the wider business to deliver department and business objectives.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- Minimum of 2 years’ Merchandising/Planning experience within a retail/ Fast-moving consumer goods industry;
- Proven experience in an analytical role where Merchandising/Planning was applicable; which you balance with a real love of product;
- You take a collaborative approach ensuring there are no surprises - focusing on strong relationship-building and great communication with people at all levels;
- Ability to manage a varied workload with conflicting deadlines;
- Strong computer literacy skills - Advanced Excel user with confidence in manipulating data. PowerBI user advantageous;
- Strong commercial awareness - Knowledge of the wider marketplace and context of broader business.
