At CH&CO, we pride ourselves on being one of the UK's leading workplace catering specialists, dedicated to exceptional food and outstanding service. We are currently seeking a Client Relationship Manager to oversee operations at a prominent workplace site.

We are in search of a seasoned professional to take charge of strategic planning and contract management. This role involves supervising the Catering Manager and Executive Chef, ensuring that services align with client expectations and the CH&CO brand ethos.

Key Responsibilities:

Culinary and Service Enhancement

• Guarantee that client expectations regarding food quality and service are consistently met and evaluated across the site, in accordance with the CH&CO standards.

• Assist the Catering Manager in establishing clear expectations for all staff regarding food and service excellence to ensure that the highest standards are maintained across all service points.

• Collaborate with the Catering Manager to continuously assess the service and food offerings, providing constructive feedback to the team and implementing necessary adjustments.

• Partner with the Executive Chef to refine menu offerings, marketing strategies, and communication of these elements.
Relationship Management

• Cultivate and maintain robust working relationships with clients.

• Conduct regular review meetings with the Catering Manager to ensure that performance targets are being achieved.

• Facilitate business review meetings with clients to confirm that all targets, objectives, and service level agreements are fulfilled.

Financial Oversight

• Ensure that the location meets the financial objectives established with the client, adhering to the budget.

• If financial targets are not met, identify and implement strategies promptly to address any shortfalls.

• Collaborate closely with the Executive Chef and Operations Managers to establish best practices for cost monitoring.

• Understand and utilize relevant financial control systems to assess performance and meet all targets.

• Ensure all costs are effectively managed through prudent purchasing and implement safeguards for monitoring expenses.

• Prepare and present a monthly financial report detailing performance, activities, and plans for the site, including any necessary actions taken.

Team Leadership and Development

• Support the Catering Manager and Executive Chef in fostering a structured approach to daily and weekly communications.

• Assist the Catering Manager in ensuring that all team members adhere to company health, hygiene, quality, and safety standards as outlined in the relevant manuals.

• Provide effective performance management and evaluations for the Catering Manager and assist in the same for Assistant Managers and Supervisors.
