We are seeking a skilled Lead Beverage Operations Manager to join our dynamic team, dedicated to creating memorable experiences in a lively atmosphere alongside passionate individuals.
Role Responsibilities
As a key member of the venue operations team, you will report directly to the Bar Operations Manager and be responsible for:
· Leading a team of 3 to 4 Assistant Bar Managers across multiple venues.
· Recruiting, training, and mentoring staff at various career stages while fostering a supportive work environment.
· Planning and organizing staffing schedules for events within the Bar Department.
· Managing venue operations during high-profile events, ensuring smooth opening and closing procedures.
· Collaborating with the Bar Operations Manager on brand initiatives and research and development for both venues.
· Adhering to budgetary constraints and maintaining appropriate inventory levels for beverage procurement.
· Achieving operational, financial, and departmental objectives while continuously seeking to enhance cost of goods sold (COGS) and drive revenue growth.
· Conducting stock reconciliations and providing accurate reports to the Bar Operations Manager on a regular basis.
· Designing and implementing drink menus, recipes, and inventory management within the point of sale and stock systems.
· Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining adherence to current legal standards.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will possess relevant experience in high-volume bars or live entertainment venues, hold a personal license, and have a strong understanding of bar operations. A commitment to flexibility, the ability to remain composed under pressure, and a keen attention to detail are essential.
