Fundraising and Development Director

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Fundraising and Development Director to join our Senior Leadership Team at Church Mission Society. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our Fundraising and Communications efforts to inspire and engage UK Christians, churches, and trusts to support our mission.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Fundraising and Communications team to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy that aligns with our organizational goals and objectives.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including major donors, trusts, and churches, to secure funding and support for our mission.
- Design and implement effective marketing and communications campaigns to raise awareness and engagement with our mission.
- Collaborate with our Senior Leadership Team to develop and implement organizational strategies that align with our mission and goals.
- Manage and oversee the development of fundraising materials, including proposals, reports, and other collateral.
Requirements
- Significant experience in a fundraising role at a leadership level, with a proven track record of success.
- Proven experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing complex projects.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ability to think strategically and develop innovative solutions to complex problems.
- Experience of working in a charity or non-profit organization, with a strong understanding of the sector and its challenges.
