About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Fundraising and Communications Director to join our Senior Leadership Team at Church Mission Society. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading our Fundraising and Communications efforts to inspire and engage UK Christians, churches, and trusts to support our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the Fundraising and Communications team to develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to grow income and engagement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including major donors, trusts, and churches.
  • Collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team to align fundraising and communications efforts with the organization's overall strategy.
  • Manage and execute integrated marketing and fundraising campaigns to achieve ambitious income targets.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the organization's mission, values, and goals to effectively communicate them to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in a fundraising role at a leadership level, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proven experience of leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing change.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
