Position: Electronics Hardware Engineering Lead

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing effective engineering processes to achieve operational excellence. Your expertise will contribute to improved workflows, enhanced craftsmanship, and vendor relationships, elevating tool enhancements.
  • Contributing to our electronics hardware engineering initiatives, focusing on optimizing costs, timelines, and quality, while ensuring the integration of best practices.
  • Motivating teams and the broader organization to adopt innovative approaches, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and a culture of excellence.
  • Mentoring and developing your team; enhancing skill sets and encouraging new responsibilities; conducting performance evaluations.
  • Overseeing the effective use of resources, including the recruitment of skilled engineers and interns.
  • Playing a pivotal role in our estimating and development strategies to support our technical proposal review processes.

Required Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Experience managing large teams or multiple teams throughout the electronics hardware lifecycle.
  • Proven leadership capabilities to drive team growth and performance.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and influence decision-making.
  • Technical background in engineering with relevant qualifications or experience.

Desirable:

  • Familiarity with Avionic Systems, Mission Systems, Safety Critical Control Systems, or Real-time Embedded/Display Systems.

Your role will be integral to our Electronics Hardware Engineering teams, focusing on continuous improvement, process enhancement, and efficiency in a leading defense, security, and aerospace organization. You will manage Electronics Hardware teams responsible for developing and supplying products across various commercial and military platforms.
